Columbia Restaurant, Fuschia, Long Necklace, Navy, Palazzo, pink bag, Sangria, Target Watch

These might be my new favorite pants. After so many years of skinnies, palazzos are back!  They are so comfortable and I love how they kind of look like a maxi skirt but without being cumbersome like a maxi skirt.  I just got it this week on clearance at Target.  I made a killing at Target.  The tank top is old Target in a dark fuchsia, but they have them on sale this week 3 for $27.  I can never have enough white ones, so I bought a white grey and a couple of new V-Neck tees on sale for the same price.  Necklace was a birthday gift (also seen here)and the watch is also Target, last spring.  The sangria is the best we’ve ever had from Columbia Restaurant.  We buy it by the case.  Yummm.

I feel like I need to layer even at this time of year.  I know it’s not summer yet, but it’s been feeling like it lately (thank goodness!)  The mornings are cold, but then it heats up to 80.  This is how I handled it on today.  I belted a baggy sweatshirt over my sundress.  Simple.  The idea of belting a bulky sweater is a la Sarah Jessica.  The dress is a TJ Maxx find from the end of the season last year.  I find the best stuff at the end of the season.  It’s a halter dress, which I love because it makes your shoulders look wider which in turn makes your hips look smaller (yay!), but it is a little loose up top so to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions I wear my Express cami under it.  The sweatshirt is from the men’s section at Walmart (also seen here).  The belt is an old Target purchase.  I love these braided belts because they can fit anywhere.  Around your waist, or hips with no hole punching.  Gold flip flops are Lands End, also clearance from last year.  Watch is Target (clearance this spring) and bag is Big Buddha (TJ Maxx).

Asos Oversized Blanket Scarf, Camoflage Skinnies, Navy, Slouchy Sweatshirt

DSC03065

This is the scarf that started it all.  Well, not exactly this one, but one very similar.  The one I fell in love with was sold out.  So, I happened upon this one (somehow I cannot get the link to work — search Oversized Square Scarf In Check at ASOS.com) and it is truly a blanket scarf.  It is so big I half wonder if it isn’t actually a blanket and they decided to jump on the Blanket Scarf bandwagon and market it as a scarf.  Worn with my cargo skinnies (seen here with the boots and here), snow boots (not particularly fashionable, but necessary) and a basic crewneck navy sweatshirt I bought in menswear, half tucked.  So cozy, I didn’t feel the need for a coat on this day.

Scarf / ASOS, Sweatshirt / Faded Glory (can’t find it online), Camo Skinnies / Gap (no longer available), Boots/Patgonia Lugano (no longer available)
